Essential Job Functions:

  • Adheres to and performs functions according to company and OSHA safety guidelines.

  • Performs cleanup operations as deemed necessary by supervisor.

  • Digs holes or trenches, utilizing hand tools and manual digging tools

  • Moves and lifts heavy objects. Up to 100lbs

  • Updates and uses relevant knowledge to complete own work

  • Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position.

  • Performs other duties as determined and required by project need.

  • Frequently inspects the project 

  • Walk on uneven surfaces.

  • The ability to learn and operate any new piece of equipment or function

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School education or equivalent.

  • Soft Skills very important (i.e. showing up on time, respectful demeanor, etc.)

 

Physical Requirements:

  • The employee is regularly required to sit, talk and/or hear.

  • The employee is required to reach with hands and arms.

  • The employee is required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.

  • The employee may be required to lift heavy objects in awkward positions that require a flexible range of motion.

  • Specific vision abilities include close vision and peripheral vision.

  • The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. (earplugs are given)

Hazards:

  • May be exposed to extremes of heat and cold as well as certain unsafe environments

  • Occasionally works near moving equipment and mechanical parts and electrical equipment

  • Possible exposure to fumes or airborne particles

  • Possible exposure to internal liquids

  • This is a safety sensitive position where a momentary lapse of attention can result in serious injury or death.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally very loud.

  • Must follow all safety requirements carefully

Landscape Labor

Concrete Labor

Duties:

  • Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes.

  • Install rock, cement, lighting, and water features.

  • Communicate with employees, supervisors, and clients.

  • Irrigation and drainage installation and repair

  • Spanish a plus!

Duties:

  • Applies adhesives, caulking, sealants, or coatings.

  • Bores holes in timber, masonry or concrete walls, using a power drill.

  • Dissembles parts by hand or by woodworking and metalworking machines.

  • Uses basic carpentry and concrete fabrication techniques as needed.

  • Concrete formwork, or other structures necessary to assist in erecting formwork and to access elevated areas

  • Spanish a plus!
